WINDOW ROCK, Ariz. – The Navajo Housing Authority (NHA) is actively planning to conduct several focus groups both on and off the Navajo Nation. The purpose of the focus groups is to seek the input of stakeholders and the general public in an effort to evaluate and understand their opinions, attitudes, and beliefs on NHA.

The focus groups will also provide feedback on where individuals get information, causes and creation of beliefs towards NHA, and what types of information would clarify the views expressed of NHA.

“We want to let people know that by participating in these focus group they can ‘Be a Part of the Solution’,” said NHA Government and Public Relations Director Roberta Roberts. “The NHA’s vision is “Housing Our Nation by Building Sustainable, Quality Homes,” and we are continually reviewing how we can improve our services to the Navajo people.”

“We are very interested in people’s honest opinion – on what we are doing right and what we can do better,” Roberts added. “The input we gather will be valuable to the success of the NHA.”

The NHA plans on conducting the focus groups throughout the month of May. Each group will consist of 5-6 people and anyone interested in participating is encouraged to sign-up at
